There seems to be some confusion to the role of the moderator. It appears that it has recently been confused with a position of power and what not, and a status symbol. This is not the case. We pick moderators on the following basis, assuming these roles will be fulfilled.
1. Contributive posts. People who are moderators generally have posts that contribute to the conversation every single time. There posts are informative, yet they also can determine when the time for an informative post and the time for a comical post.
2. Power control. As a moderator, you would be expect to = edit peoples posts, just enough to make some very abstract posts readable. = determine the line between abusing messages and all in good fun messages. = determine when a moderator needs to step in an edit a post, in order for a "flame war" not to be started = move topics appropriately to spam. =Delete innapropriate posts/threads
3. Have a sense of humour, without power abuse.
Will add more as a need for more rules is required.
